Artbeat Studios Review

I’ve worked with Artbeat Studios for a number of years. In fact, I’ve ordered dozens of prints and used them in evaluations ranging from metal to canvas to acrylic. In a space with a lot of competition, Artbeat Studios has continually impressed me with the quality of their prints and the dedication of their staff.

So, now that I’ve let the cat out of the bag about the quality of Artbeat Studios, let’s explore more about this locally-owned, US-based company. In this Artbeat Studios review, I’ll give you insights into the company and its products, and I’ll pull the curtain back on the specific experiences I’ve had ordering prints of all shapes, sizes, and types from these folks.

With that, let’s get to the review!

About Artbeat Studios

artbeat studios website

Artbeat Studios was founded on the principle that you can create beautiful prints while providing good prices and top-notch customer service.

Rather than some other printers that focus on speed and quantity with little attention paid to details, Artbeat Studios seeks to perfect the art of printing wall art prints; that way, you get the best quality product for your dollar.

Artbeat Studios has followed this philosophy throughout their more than 20 years of experience in the business. The owners have perfected their approach to printing, color matching, and color editing. Likewise, they’ve devoted themselves to building relationships with each and every customer.

Artbeat Studios Hours

If you’re in the Irvine, California area, you can drop by the Artbeat Studios lobby from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific time Monday through Friday.

Artbeat Studios Products

Unlike many companies in this space, Artbeat Studios focuses only on wall art prints. This is in an effort to do one thing and do it well, rather than spreading their time, energy, and resources across a vast product line.

There is a nice selection of wall art prints, from metal prints like the one I ordered to acrylic, metallic canvas, traditional canvas, and paper prints.

No matter the type of print, you can choose from a wide range of sizes, including custom dimensions to fit your specific needs.

Artbeat Studios Promo Code

There are many different Artbeat Studios promo codes and coupons you might be able to utilize when placing an order.

Artbeat Studios Return Policy

How to Get Out of a Photography Rut

The Artbeat Studios return policy is very straightforward.

Their 30-day satisfaction guarantee stipulates that if you aren’t satisfied, you can simply return the print within 30 days of when the print was delivered.

Once Artbeat Studios gets the print back, you get a full refund in the form of store credit for future orders or a reprint.

If your print arrives damaged, you need to email [email protected] with pictures of the damage so Artbeat can submit a claim to the shipping provider. Once the pictures are received, a reprint of the image will be made and shipped to you.

Artbeat Studios Metal Print Review

As I noted earlier, I’ve ordered prints many times over the years from Artbeat Studios. The first thing I want to review is how this print feels.

I often associate weight and heft with the quality of a product. I’ve spoken about this with my Peter McKinnon Nomatic camera pack – it’s a big, heavy bag that looks fantastic and is extremely well-built. This same concept can be applied to luxury cars – there’s a difference in how the door of a Rolls Royce feels as you open and close it than a door on a Smart Car.

When I took my Artbeat Studios metal print out of the packaging, the weight of it was fantastic. Don’t get me wrong – it’s not like I had to strain to pick the thing up. But it has a weight to it that the majority of the other metal prints in the metal print shootout simply do not have.

The print itself is really quite fantastic. They use Chromaluxe® brand HD aluminum sheets which is the highest quality on the market, guaranteed to resist fading for 65+ years. The color accuracy is absolutely spot on. Where other companies add different tones to the shot, Artbeat Studios printed it just as I wanted.

The detail and resolution of the print is fantastic as well. Where some of the prints I ordered from other companies lacked detail in the cave walls and the foreground, this print nailed it.

Where a lot of the weight of this print comes from is from the mounting hardware.

If you look at the photo above, you can see the mounting piece is well-constructed and solidly attached to the back of the print.

This mounting piece is made of wood and has options for vertical or horizontal hanging. I’m a stickler for mounting hardware being centered and level, and Artbeat Studios delivered on both fronts.

Now, those of you who know me understand that I really take a deep dive into these prints to find any flaws. But I simply can’t find any faults with the print itself. I will say, though, that based on some of the older online reviews, shipping times have been a point of contention in the past for some customers.

However, I didn’t experience this at all. In fact, my Artbeat Studios metal prints tend to arrive very quickly, so at least in my experience, the shipping issue seems to have been resolved. Overall this print was definitely one of the highest quality metal prints I have reviewed.

Artbeat Studios Review: Acrylic Prints

Much like the metal print I reviewed above, the acrylic print I reviewed from Artbeat Studios is next-level good…

Let me start with the packaging, which is, as always, superb. Artbeat Studios understands that part of the appeal of a product is how it arrives at your doorstep. That being the case, each print is meticulously packaged to ensure it gets to you unscathed.

Then, when you open the box and reveal the print, you can immediately see why Artbeat is so well-revered. The colors in this print are astounding and true to the image I submitted for the print. I purposefully chose a photo with tons of color variation, and this acrylic print lets them all shine with beautiful vibrancy.

On top of that, this print is exquisitely detailed. There is no visible noise. The depth of detail in the print is evident in every corner of the shot, too, from the brightest colors to the darkest blacks.

The overall presentation of the print is on point as well. Aside from the beauty of the print itself, the metal is beautifully cut with a nice sheen to it. Again, the way the print was packaged was impressive, as is the back of the print. Sure, while you don’t see the back, it’s nice to see attention to detail, even on things that don’t get seen.

Having said that, there was a very minor gap on one corner of the frame. It in no way impacts how you view the print, but I like to be thorough, so I wanted to mention that.

Another nit-picky piece I want to draw attention to is the value. This print was $189 and is worth every penny. However, you have to appreciate it like a Ferrari. Is it something everyone considers a good value? No. But if you want a refined acrylic print that is absolutely exquisite, then you’ve found your printer!

Artbeat Studios Review: Canvas Prints

My most recent experience with Artbeat Studios was when I ordered a canvas print of a photo I took on my iPhone. The image was one I figured would be a challenge because it was taken in a low-light situation on a camping trip. In fact, the image was taken at night, featured a bright campfire, and lots of intricate details in the nighttime landscape.

But, true to form, Artbeat Studios overcame whatever challenges I thought I was throwing at them and created a beautiful print. In my video review above, I talk about the beautiful colors in this print. I gave the print a 5 out of 5 for its color because the colors are absolutely true to form.

Artbeat Studios wins on the detail front as well. Again, I gave this print a 5 out of 5 because even when you really drill down to the details of this print, the detail is there. In particular, you can clearly read the writing on the diesel heater.

Now, I took this shot, so I know it is sharply in focus. But sometimes with canvas prints, the sharpness doesn’t come through. That’s simply not the case with this print.

As I’ve come to expect with an Artbeat Studios print, this was absolutely on point in the presentation department. From the packaging to the quality of the image to the build quality of the frame, this print is nearly perfect.

Now, nearly is the keyword here…

I did ding this print one point on the frame. One of the issues I have with the frame is that there are no corner braces or a central brace running through the middle of the frame. I feel like that’s an area for improvement for added rigidity.

I also took off one point for overall value, simply because this print is rather expensive. Now, as I noted earlier, this is a get-what-you-pay-for situation. It is definitely worth the price, but at $136, it will be more than some want to spend.

At the end of the day, my experiences with Artbeat Studios have been fantastic. From the quality of the print to the shipping packaging to the customer service, these folks know how to get things done. If you need a printer for your personal or commercial printing needs, I can’t recommend Artbeat Studios enough!
