Sony a7III or Fuji X100V: Seeking Advice for Indecisive Camera Buyer

Hey fellow photographers! I'm in a bit of a dilemma and could use your help. I can't decide between the Sony a7III and the Fuji X100V. I've researched both cameras extensively, but I'm still torn between these two fantastic options. For those of you who have experience with either or both of these cameras, could you share your insights and recommendations? What do you love about them, and are there any drawbacks I should consider? Your firsthand experiences would be invaluable in helping me make my decision!
Thank you in advance for sharing your wisdom!

No experience with either but I'd go with the Sony. It'll allow a choice of lenses, the pixels are larger, the max shutter speed is faster, built-in stabilisation, 2x memory card slots, eye track and animal tracking and more. The Fuji doesn't seem to offer much.

You haven't said what you'll be shooting or how you intend to use it.

Hey thanks Esseff.  My bad, I shoot landscapes and nature, but would like to have something that is good with video as well.  So you are saying Sony, some of my research today we leading towards people recommending Sigma lenses with the Sony platform as a way to save a few bucks.  Do you have any experience with Sigma lenses?

Thanks again!

If it were me I'd go Sony, for all the reasons I mentioned. Also the sensor of the Fuji is noisier than the Sony. It's not the greatest for video but then I'd get a dedicated camera for video rather than compromise on my photos.

I have two Sigmas. A 24-70mm Art and a 150-600mm Sports. Both are great and work fantastic with my A7R5. The Art especially is amazing. Looking at a Sigma 14-24mm Art or a 14mm Art prime for my next purchase.

The X100V is primarily a street camera. If you are shooting primarily nature and landscapes then the Sony is a far better choice. You're stuck with 35mm on the X100V. I'm not sure why you're even considering the X100V. One of the XT models would be a lot more suitable.
