Non Nikon battery grip for Nikon D610?

6 months 3 weeks ago #757525 by Greg Friedman
I'm asking so I can save a buck if possible. My camera is on the older side and I don't want to spend a lot on this.  Which is the better alternative battery grip for a D610 please?

When it comes to battery grips, I have never had luck with non Nikon grips.  I would look on eBay or MPB for something used if you want to save a few bucks.

Any grip for a D610 would probably be second hand. But I agree, stick with Nikon.

Did a quick search, there are plenty of new ones out there.  B&H sells the new MB-D14 for $179 or they have this used one for $29!:  www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/802085433...i_battery_power.html

Wasn't me :)

I'm a bit surprised to see new ones still - Nikon must have made a bunch of them. The camera itself was sure a good value.

When did Nikon discontinue that camera?  I don't think it was that long ago, regardless they are likely sitting on a heap of inventory of random stuff that needs to be sold.
