I think the camera rocks. In my case, I already own a D800, and at the same price point, it would be less than redundant to get one, (especially since I still have all of my old filmers, for the kicks). If I were still using an older dx camera, and wanted to make a full frame move, I would give it serious thought.... :unsure:

I like the idea and the look, but since watching that video I think perhaps Nikon could have done a bit more. Maybe the DF II will be a bit better.

If I shot Nikon I MIGHT be interested if it had better AF. A D4 sensor is all well and good, but if you don't have decent AF then what's the point.

I'd accept it more if it, say, had the option of the ol' split focus thingy that was in old SLR camera (to help with manual focus). That would make it a true Digital Fusion camera.

I'm sure there is a split image focus screen out that will fit it already.... I had put one in my old D70s years ago to help focus all of the older manual focus lenses that I still use...
