Hi, I finally got to use my new Canon 60D (first DSLR ever) and I want to post a few pics for your critiques and advises. I am looking forward to hear from you!

Thank you,
Giorgio

Congrats on the new camera!  Just a few things to mention on my part:
For the first photo, I generally like it.  You may just want to lighten up the face so you can illuminate the eyes a bit better.  A reflector can do that, or because you were in a naturally lit room, I would have just faced the other way instead.  (But kids are tricky, so either way I'd say a successful shot).  The only thing that's a little off-putting about this photo is the softness/blur.  Judging by the stuffies in the background you applied a filter or used a setting that blurred/softened the whole photo, but there's just too much of it.  Soft looking skin is great for baby photos but to this degree it starts looking like they're wearing makeup (or just oddly unnatural) and it's a little weird looking.
I really like the idea of that second one.  The tight framing, angle, and general atmosphere of the photo works for me.  I would have focused on the eye, though, as this is focused on the nose.
Third, I love interesting lighting like that, but you've chosen some much-less-than-appealing subject matter.
The fourth one is nice.  Nicely done!

Thank you Leilanee for your advises. It was a little overwhelming at first when I started learning about camera usage, photography techniques, post editing. I hope it will just get better from now on or after my first 10,000 pictures.

Best regards,
Georgio

Leilanee is spot on with her advice. I like the concept in the fourth image but may like it better in B/W.

Overall, great start!!
